The prestigious Ray Phippard Fellow and Progressive Awards, and Prof. Ian Frazer Humanitarian Award are available to Lions Clubs seeking to recognise outstanding individuals.

The Ray Phippard Fellow Award is named in honour of Ray Phippard in recognition of his ongoing service to Lions Medical Research Foundation over the last 50 years. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite. It is usually given to an individual who has delivered outstanding service to the community in support of medical research. A plaque and a lapel badge are presented to the recipient. Cost: $,1000.00
The Ray Phippard Progressive Award is awarded to the special person who already holds an existing Ray Phippard Award. This prestigious award is a solid silver lapel pin and contains a 45 point diamond. Each additional donation of $1,000 will add one more precious stone (Queensland blue or yellow sapphire) to a maximum of five stones. A crystal diamond-shaped trophy accompanies this award. Cost: $1,000.00
The Prof. Ian Frazer Humanitarian Award is named after Prof. Ian Frazer AC in recognition of his research into cervical cancer and his assistance to the Lions Medical Research Foundation over many years. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite. The Award is given for outstanding services to the community in support of medical research. A framed certificate and lapel badge are presented to the recipient. Cost: $500.00
Medallions: Recognise a fellow Lion or special person by awarding a Lions Medical Research Foundation Medallion. These medallions are ideal for an end of year thank-you, and ‘Children of Courage’. Cost: $20.00
