    The Community Service Award is presented to an organisation or individual whose commitment to community service is exemplary. This award acknowledges that ‘community is what we make it’, and service to our community in support of medical research is recognised, appreciated and valued.

    This Award can be used to acknowledge individuals or organisations and can be awarded to Lions and non-Lions. An individual or organisation may be nominated to receive this Award by a Lions Club, Lioness Club, Leo Club or District Cabinet. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite.

    The amount of $250 is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award.

    The nominated recipient will receive an inscribed glass plaque. The Award will be forwarded through the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.

    To recognise a fellow Lion or special person by awarding a Lions Medical Research Foundation Medallion. These medallions are presented in a small case with a personalised message on a brass plaque. They are ideal for an end of year thank you, and ‘Children of Courage’.

    An individual may be nominated to receive this Award by a Lions Club, Lioness Club, Leo Club, District Cabinet, other organisations or an individual.

    The amount of $50 each (includes postage and engraving), is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award. The Award will be forwarded through the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.

    The Award is named after Professor Ian Frazer AC in recognition of his research into cervical cancer, and his assistance to Lions Medical Research Foundation. An individual may be nominated to receive this Award by a Lions, Lioness or Leo Club, District Cabinet, other organisations or an individual.

    The Award may be given for outstanding humanitarian services to the community in support of medical research. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite.

    The amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) undesignated, is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award.

    The nominated recipient will receive an appropriately inscribed framed certificate and a lapel badge. The Award will be forwarded through the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.

    The Prof. Ian Frazer Humanitarian Progressive Award is offered to recipients of the Prof. Ian Frazer Humanitarian Award. The Award is named after Professor Ian Frazer AC in recognition of his research into cervical cancer, and his assistance to Lions Medical Research Foundation. An individual may be nominated to receive this Award by a Lions, Lioness or Leo Club, District Cabinet, other organisations or an individual.

    The Award may be given for outstanding humanitarian services to the community in support of medical research. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite.

    The amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) undesignated, is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award.

    The nominated recipient will receive a Diamond Optical Crystal and lapel pin issued via the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.

    The Award is named after Past District Governor Ray Phippard in recognition of his ongoing service to Lions Medical Research Foundation for over 50 years. The Award may be given for outstanding community service in support of medical research. Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite.

    An individual may be nominated to receive this Award by a Lions Club, Lioness Club, Leo Club, District Cabinet, other organisations or an individual.

    The amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000) undesignated, is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award.

    The nominated recipient, honoured as a Ray Phippard Fellow, will receive an appropriately inscribed wall plaque and a lapel pin. The Award will be forwarded through the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.

    The Ray Phippard Progressive Award is offered to recipients of the Ray Phippard Fellow Award. The Award is named after Past District Governor Ray Phippard in recognition of his ongoing service to Lions Medical Research Foundation for over 50 years. The Award may be given for outstanding community service in support of medical research.
    Membership of Lions Clubs International is not a prerequisite. An individual may be nominated to receive this award by a Lions Club, Lioness Club, Leo Club, District Cabinet, other organisations or an individual.

    The amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000) undesignated, is required as a contribution to the Foundation to qualify for the Award.

    The nominated recipient will receive a crystal diamond shaped trophy and silver lapel pin containing one 45-point diamond. Each additional donation of $1,000 will add a precious stone, (e.g a Queensland blue or yellow sapphire). The maximum number of precious stones is five. The Ray Phippard Fellow Progressive Award will be forwarded through the Lions Medical Research Foundation office.
