In 2018, Lions Medical Research Foundation is launching an Ambassador Program. This program is designed to engage Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs to support the goals and objectives of Lions Medical Research Foundation.
We are looking for people who are committed to their communities, see the benefits of medical research and prepared to be our eyes and ears in regional and metropolitan Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Quite simply an Ambassador is someone who is passionate about working with the Foundation to secure the start-up funding that is necessary to sustain our ongoing commitment to supporting early and mid career researchers in their fields of study.
At the heart of this program will be individuals who treat the core values of Lions Medical Research Foundation as seriously as the Staff and Board of Directors. These people will assist the Foundation to have an impact that is both far-reaching and long-lasting.
It may come as no surprise to many that our very first Ambassador is PDG Austin (Aussie) Lanphier. As Aussie says – “Lions Medical Research Foundation is very important to me. As a past Chairman, I remain committed to the Foundation and am delighted to be able to offer ongoing support as a Foundation Ambassador”
If you are interested then please contact the Foundation Director in your District, and if you’re not sure who that is, you can find them HERE . We look forward to hearing from you.
