Our range of awards recognising medical research

Providing medical research support and funding, the Qld & Northern NSW Lions Medical Research Foundation has assisted many researchers in the discovery of breakthrough medical treatments by awarding medical research fellowships.

Aside from fellowships, we also provide the sale of awards for exemplary services to the community that support medical research. Our awards aim to honour the relentless effort and support of deserving community members to further the cause of medical research discoveries for the future. Below, we have put together a summary of our awards.

The Ray Phippard Fellow Award

Ray Phippard was one of the Foundation members back in 1963 and prior to his death was a long serving supporter of the Lions Medical Research Foundation.
